Any time there is a need to connect external devices, we fully support MIDI (as per the specification here).

This is how we trigger custom SFX, from a selection of MIDI samplers.

For DMX we use DecaBox MIDI-DMX Bridges, which allow lighting states to be recorded and triggered on cue.
